July 26, 2018 (Cumberland, MD) – The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation is pleased to announce Cumberland City Councilman Seth D. Bernard as the latest addition to its Board of Directors. Councilman Bernard fills a position on the Board reserved for a representative of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland.
Paul Kelly, Executive Director of the CEDC, stated “We are very fortunate to add such a talented and energetic community leader to our organization. Seth has been providing the CEDC with great insight and direction, and now, as a member of the Board, Seth will no doubt capitalize on the opportunity to expand those contributions for the betterment of our organization and the City.”
Jonathan Hutcherson, Chairman of the CEDC Board, added “It is vital to our economic development mission to communicate frequently, efficiently and effectively with our City and County partners. The recent additions of Seth and County Administrator Brandon Butler to our Board will definitely make communication seamless and bolster our collaborative efforts.”
