Jonathan M. Hutcherson, Chairman
Founder & CEO of Provision IAM
Jonathan Hutcherson is a strategic executive and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in leveraging strengths to build a talented team dedicated to innovation and digital greatness.
Exclamation Labs, an industry leader in creating enterprise-level web applications, grew steadily due to its unparalleled work in digital product development, UX and usability, infrastructure and DevOps, and FinTech security. With Jonathan’s passionate and unrelenting vision as the driving force, the company has digitally transformed online business for some of the most recognizable brands in the world.
Realizing that change and adaptability are essential to growth, Jonathan had the foresight to reimagine what Exclamation Labs’ mission could look like in the future. After more than 25 years in business, it was time to re-invent the company to capitalize on its strengths—strengths that included developing a unique product for a critical, underserved need in the banking industry. In 2022, Exclamation Labs rebranded as Provision IAM to better reinforce the company’s core mission of providing identity security for financial institutions.
Community banks and credit unions manage hundreds of systems with varying user access permissions that generally require manual updates when employees are hired, roles change, or access permissions evolve. The Provision Identity Access Management platform automates common tasks to improve employee productivity, ensure security, and reduce the time required for audit preparation. Today, Provision is used by financial institutions from coast-to-coast and eases the burden of meeting ever-changing regulatory compliance requirements.
As a lifelong Eagle Scout Jonathan is committed to service and serves on multiple Boards. For nearly four years, he was a Trustee for MarketingEDGE, headquartered in New York City and now part of the American Marketing Association (AMA). In his hometown of Cumberland, Maryland, he is a founding member and Board Chairman for the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation (CEDC). He was also a founding member of the Western Maryland IT Center of Excellence, an organization created to link regional IT leaders with economic development initiatives. Additionally, he serves as the co-Chair of the Board of Directors for UPMC Western Maryland.
Hutcherson lives in Cumberland with his wife Amy and their two daughters, Grace and Eve. When he’s not behind his Mac or in a meeting, he can often be found hiking in the woods or working on his old house.
