May 18, 2018 (Cumberland, MD) – During its May 14, 2018 meeting, the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) Board of Directors voted to include Allegany County Administrator Brandon Butler as a member of the board.
“I am honored to join this group of dedicated business and education leaders. Growing our local economy cannot be done without the county and city working together in a serious and sustained way. Today was yet another step that we are taking to change the way business is done in this county,” said Butler.
Paul Kelly, Executive Director and President of the CEDC stated, “This is really an exciting time for the CEDC. We are seeing several important projects come to fruition that will move the City forward in a positive direction. These achievements could not occur without solid support from County Government. Brandon’s addition to our Board will certainly strengthen the organization and promote more efficient coordination with County Government.”
