CEDC Seeking Applicants for Economic Specialist Position

The Mayor and City Council of Cumberland, Maryland is currently seeking applications to fill a full-time (40 hours/week) economic development specialist position that will be assigned to the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit tasked with implementing the City’s economic development plan and generally promoting business retention, expansion and attraction within the City.  A minimum of two years of economic development experience is preferred.  A comparable amount of training and experience may be substituted for the minimum preferred qualifications.  The salary will be commensurate with qualifications. Health, hospitalization and dental insurance is available.  Position qualifies for participation in the Maryland State Retirement System.  All interested applicants should forward their resume, along with a cover letter, to Matthew B.
