CEDC Selects New Executive Director

The Cumberland Economic Development Corporation (CEDC) is pleased to announce that Paul J. Kelly, Jr. will lead the organization as its Executive Director.

The CEDC conducted a national search for this position and interviewed candidates from across the country. Paul brings tremendous passion for positive economic change to the position and, as a Cumberland native and attorney with private development experience, he is uniquely suited to implement the CEDC’s Strategic Plan.

“Paul brings a wealth of experience to the organization; he is involved with small, entrepreneurial businesses, large corporations, and has hands-on experience creating strategic partnerships and developing complex projects.” said CEDC Board Chairman Jonathan Hutcherson. “His passion for positive change in our region is driven by a clear vision and a demonstrated ability to take action.”
